The Executive Board of the Triad Youth Jazz Society wishes to thank you for your interest in being a sponsor of our upcoming jazz fundraiser festival.  The Triad Youth Jazz Society is a non-profit organization for youth age 8 to 17. The program is designed to preserve the history of jazz music in our community through music and education. Location:  Festival Park, downtown Greensboro (next to the Cultural Arts Center).    

Schedule of events:

  • Social Event for sponsors and musicians: 
  • June 12, 2009; Coffee at The Summit- 623 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC
  • Jazz Fundraiser Festival:  June 13, 2009; 3:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Jazz and Financial Literacy Workshops TBA

Festival Goals:

  • Provide a meaningful volunteer opportunity for local and area residents
  • Provide unique sponsorship and economic development opportunities for business and corporate citizens.
  • Provide an opportunity for quality non-food and food vendors.
  • Encourage and promote arts development and economic development within the Greensboro community.
  • Provide a hands-on and multicultural arts experience for families- youth, adults, and senior citizens.

Concepts:  Event will include:

  • Art Exhibit
  • Interactive games for children and families
  • Live entertainment- Major, International and local jazz artists
